The Al-Rasoul Al-Ameen Organization held an educational seminar on the dangers of violence against women as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign, an international initiative launched by the United Nations from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day). The seminar, presented by Dr. Faiz Adeeb (PhD in Psychology), aimed to raise awareness and mobilize community and legal efforts to combat all forms of violence against women and girls of all ages. The seminar was attended by a select group of community intellectuals, including professors, teachers, heads of humanitarian organizations, and a number of community police officers. The seminar addressed the main causes of violence against women and ways to eliminate it by raising cultural awareness among all members of society.
